Forest School
The Wainscott Forest School Project provides our children with the opportunity to immerse and express themselves in the natural environment and learn key skills for life including independence, resilience, curiosity, creativity and tolerance. These values are those of the school.
Our children learn about and gain respect for the British countryside and its wildlife, understand how to look after it and become responsible members of society.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Mrs Dell, Forest School Lead via the school office: office@wainscottschool.org.uk

Clothing
A part of the ethos of forest school is “There is no such thing as bad weather, just bad clothing”. The idea is that if sufficient, comfortable and appropriate clothing is provided, all children can enjoy the forest school experience in all weathers. Wellingtons and waterproofs are essential .Please ensure your children have suitable clothing for their Forest School sessions. These should be old clothes or clothes that you do not mind getting dirty. They will get dirty.
