Nursery and Reception Tours

We run regular tours for parents to view our Early years provision. This will give you an opportunity to meet staff, see the provision in action and ask any questions you may have. 

 

To book a tour, please email us at office@wainscottschool.org.uk or call us on 01634 332551. If there is a lot of interest over a short period of time, we may offer group tours.  Please be advised that each tour has a maximum capacity of 10 adults, when contacting the school office to book your place, please include the contact details of all adults that will be attending (name, phone number & email address).

Accepting or Refusing a School Place - Reception September 2025

 

Once you get your offer you need to decide if you want to accept or refuse the school place. You need to complete the acceptance/refusal form and return it to the school you've been offered.  Please see the form below:

Appealing an Offer of a School Place 

 

Are you unhappy with your offer of a school place? Follow the guidance from Medway Council below.

The deadline for submitting an appeal is Tuesday 20th May 2025 for offers made on Wednesday 16th April 2025.

 

If your child is due to start Primary school in September 2025, you can appeal if you are refused a place at one of your preferred schools on National Offer Day (Wednesday16th April 2025).

 

You need to submit your appeal before Tuesday 20th May 2025 for it to be considered by Friday 18th July 2025. Any appeals received after this time will be heard within 40 school days from the deadline, or where reasonably possible in line with updated guidance from the Department for Education.

 

For late applications, appeals should be heard within 40 school days from the deadline for lodging appeals where possible, or within 30 school days of the appeal being lodged where reasonably possible in line with updated guidance from the Department for Education.
